Aged Care Support is not currently funded through a District Health Board (DHB) and the cost of the care that you receive from us will be proposed in a care plan after our initial, complimentary, meeting. Our initial meeting is where family members can discuss the needs of the older person and a plan can then be put in place. Once we have an idea of the level of support and input that is needed we can tailor a care plan that suits you.
Although the care that you'll received from Aged Care Support is not funded there are a variety of DHB and Ministry of Health (MOH) initiatives that you may qualify for. As part of the initial planning stage we can assess your need for these services. Aged Care Support can set up the referral process and guide and support you through this process.
